Privacy Policy — iCoderAgent

iCoderAgent (“the app”, “we”, “us”), published by AiDigiApps, is a mobile AI coding assistant. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. We designed iCoderAgent to keep your data on your device and under your control.

In short: You bring your own AI provider key. Your prompts go directly to the provider you choose — we don't operate that model or receive your prompts on our servers. We don't sell your data, run ads, or use third-party trackers.

Information the app handles

AI provider API keys (BYOK)

You supply your own API key for the provider you select (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Moonshot, Hugging Face, OpenRouter, or a local model). Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are sent only to that provider to authenticate your requests. We never receive or store your keys on our servers.

Your prompts, code, and project files

Content you type, the files the agent creates or edits, chat history, and on-device usage logs are stored locally on your device. When you run a request, the relevant content is sent directly to the AI provider you chose so it can generate a response. That processing is governed by that provider's own privacy policy. We are not a party to it and do not retain that content.

Optional account (for the laptop companion)

If you choose to sign in — with an email and password or with Sign in with Apple — we create an account used solely to link your phone with the optional desktop companion app over our relay service. We store your email address and an authentication token. We do not store your password in readable form. You can use the app without an account; remote/companion features simply stay unavailable.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple's In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card or financial details. Your “conversation” usage count is metered on your device.

Diagnostics

The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

How information is used

To send your requests to the AI provider you selected and return the result.
To authenticate your optional account and connect to your own laptop companion.
To display your local usage and manage your subscription entitlement.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing.

Data sharing

AI providers you choose: receive the prompts/inputs you submit, to generate responses. Review the privacy policy of the provider whose key you use.
Apple: processes subscription purchases.
We do not share your data with anyone else except as required by law.

Data retention and deletion

On-device data (keys, projects, chat history, usage logs) is removed when you delete the app or clear it in-app.
To delete an optional relay account and its associated email/token, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

Children

iCoderAgent is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

API keys and tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. Network requests use HTTPS/TLS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use standard, industry-accepted protections.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “Effective date” above will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here.
