Privacy Policy — Sadhana Anusandhanak
Effective date: 6 July 2026
Sadhana Anusandhanak (“the app”, “we”, “us”), published by AiDigiApps, is a habit-tracking app for spiritual and lifestyle practice. This policy explains what information the app handles and how, across iOS, Android, and any companion widgets.
Information the app handles
Account information
Your name and email address, used to create and sign in to your account (via AWS Cognito with a 6-digit email verification code).
Practice data
The habits you create — name, category, target, reminder time — and your daily logs: quantities, timestamps, an optional mood rating, and any free-text notes you choose to add (for example, a book you read, a meal, or music you listened to). This is stored in your account so it's available across sessions and devices.
AI provider API key (BYOK, optional)
If you enable AI Summary, you supply your own API key for the provider you choose — Anthropic or OpenAI. The key is stored on our servers and is used only to generate the summaries you request; we never display it back to you after you save it. When you generate a summary, the relevant practice-log data for that period is sent directly to the provider you chose, using your key. That processing is governed by that provider's own privacy policy — we are not a party to it.
Subscriptions
Your trial and Guru subscription status is managed through RevenueCat and billed via Apple's In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Device preferences
Theme, sound, and reminder settings are stored locally on your device only.
Diagnostics
The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
How information is used
- To sync your habits and logs to your account across sessions and devices.
- To schedule the local reminder notifications you set for each habit.
- To generate an AI-written summary of your own practice log — only when you request it, and only using the API key you supplied.
- To activate and manage your Guru trial or subscription.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing.
Data sharing
- Amazon Web Services: hosts our backend (authentication, database, API) and stores your account and practice data.
- Anthropic or OpenAI: receive your practice-log data for the period requested, but only if you enable AI Summary — sent to whichever provider you chose, using your own key.
- RevenueCat, Apple, Google: process and verify your subscription purchase.
- We do not share your data with anyone else except as required by law.
Data retention and deletion
- Your practice data is kept for as long as your account is active. Deleting a habit archives it rather than erasing it immediately, so your historical logs stay accurate.
- You can remove your AI provider key from Settings at any time.
- To request full deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
Children
Sadhana Anusandhanak is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS, and authentication is handled by AWS Cognito. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use standard, industry-accepted protections.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the “Effective date” above will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here.
